Financial Planning Magazine featured the firm and its founder with a
cover story in 1997 with this theme. Bloomberg Wealth Manager Magazine
selected UAS as one of the top 50 Wealth Managers in America in
2004 and top 250 in 2003 and 2002. In addition, Worth Magazine has
listed the firms president for 1998/1997/1996 as among the nations
top 200/250 Financial Advisors. UAS was featured in an October 1998
article in Dow Jones Investment Advisor Magazine as one of the most
innovative advisory firms in the business. In 1999 its founder and a
client of the firm were featured in the March issue of Money Magazine
in an article about choosing a financial advisor.
Founded in 1985 by Joe Kopczynski, the companys initial purpose was
to provide sophisticated practice management, estate planning and
investment advice. Today, the firm provides a wide array of leading
edge services to high net worth individuals and corporations throughout
North America as well as Australia and Europe. UAS has offices in
Beverly Hills, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Universal Advisory Services, Inc. registered with the Securities and
Exchange Commission in 1990 as a Registered Investment Advisor and has
since substantially added to its list of advisors from every discipline
in the wealth management field. Current professionals and staff that
form the firms Design Team include Certified Public Accountants
(CPAs), Certified Financial Planners (CFPs), Chartered Financial
Analysts (CFAs), Business Consultants, Chartered Financial Consultants
(ChFCs) and Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs). The team also includes
Attorneys and Investment Consultants across the U.S. when called upon.
The philosophy of the firm is embedded in its commitment to the
comprehensive approach in serving its clients at all levels. The firm
does not believe in modular planning or piece-meal projects. Rather,
the company seeks out those clients who desire a long-term relationship
with their trusted advisor, which enables the firm to deliver total and
complete planning and advice. This better allows its clients to reach
their stated goals.
The firm and its staff members understand that a professional, yet
personal relationship exists between clients and those assigned the
work of creating and implementing financial strategies. We know that
sometimes clients are called upon to make difficult decisions that
require the bond between advisor and client to be free of self-serving
motives. It is in this objective arena of advice-giving that trust
develops and grows. Furthermore, it is in this atmosphere of openness
and honesty that we feel our clients are best served. |
